Uh, think I would like to revisit the topic of a more independent station. The panic was real and I feel it building up again. The two links I have are fairly dead. Meaning dorkasitelock and derpinglane.
No reason. Nothing comes to mind that might have instigated a fresh vote on serious issues.

You mean IM’s ban? That was just an argument between users, not really an Oppo-wide thing.
Work on a separate site still continues slowly by NickHasAnExocet.

Seemed as good a time as any to ask since I check (read accidentally into one or the other from my bookmarks) the two alternatives once a week or so. I’m in the camp that feels site attendance and usage would improve following a move from the politically charged climate we are umbrella’d under. At the very least I do not see the devoted members who make this place enjoyable spending any less time online because the address changed.
